In anticipation of the Menil Drawing Institute’s opening, John R. Eckel, Jr. Foundation Chief Curator David Breslin opens a series of conversations and lectures on drawing with a discussion with New York- and Reykjavik-based artist Roni Horn. Though she works in a variety of mediums, including photography and sculpture, in a 2003 letter she wrote: “If you were to ask me what I do, I would say draw—this is the primary activity and that all my work has this in common regardless of idiom or material.”
