Associate Curator Clare Elliott leads a tour and discussion of the newest exhibition, Holy Barbarians: Beat Culture on the West Coast. Highlighting a lesser-seen but fascinating area of the Menil’s holdings, this exhibition brings together a diverse group of artists active in California from 1955–1970, who emphasized self-exploration and experimentation.
