Gallery Talk
This is the second of three gallery talks given by local sculptors on Mona Hatoum’s work. Born in Minneapolis, sculptor Joseph Havel has a B.F.A. from the University of Minnesota and an M.F.A. from Pennsylvania State University, both in studio arts. His work has been exhibited in the U.K., Spain, France, and Ukraine. Havel is director of the Glassell School of Art. In the second of three such gallery talks by local sculptors, Havel will share his thoughts on Hatoum’s wide-ranging work.
