Members Noontime Talk: Two of Sixteen Americans: Frank Stella and Louise Nevelson

In 1959, the Museum of Modern Art in New York introduced emerging American artists in the exhibition Sixteen Americans. The Menil’s Associate Curator of Contemporary Art Irene Shum will focus on Louise Nevelson and Frank Stella, two of the artists included in MoMA’s groundbreaking exhibition with works currently on view at the museum.

Held every Friday for a small group, Member Noontime Talks make exhibitions more intimate and reveal the collection as never before. To sign up, please RSVP to membership@menil.org. If you are not currently a Menil Member, you can learn more and join here.
