Musical Performance: Stop, Look and Listen!: Jazz on the Lawn

The Menil Collection and DACAMERA present Stop, Look and Listen!, a socially-distanced, outdoor concert on the Menil’s North Lawn near the main entrance. Enjoy an afternoon listening to live jazz with the Jalen Baker Quartet (Jalen Baker, vibraphone; Gavin Moolchan, drums; Sam Reid, piano; Corey Dozier, bass).

The concert will take place on the front lawn of the Menil Collection at 1533 Sul Ross Street, between Mandell and Mulberry Streets. Visitors are invited to bring picnics and blankets to enjoy on the grass; seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are required to abide by the Menil Collection’s COVID-19 safety protocols by maintaining social distance (at least 6 feet between each household) and wearing a face mask that covers your nose and mouth unless eating or drinking. All other Menil green space policies apply. Further information regarding accessibility and parking can be found here.
