Mark Rothko’s The Green Stripe, 1955, received a substantial conservation treatment in order to be included in a 2021 display marking the 50th anniversary of the Rothko Chapel currently on view in the main building foyer. Members are invited to an online discussion with Chief Conservator Brad Epley to learn about the fascinating process required to restore this important color field painting.
