Menil Contemporaries Partner-level members are invited to join Jan Burandt, Paper Conservator and Kirsten Marples, Curatorial Associate at the Janie C. Lee Drawing Room and Suzanne Deal Booth Conservation Lab at the Menil Drawing Institute.
Enjoy a special viewing of drawings by Odilon Redon, Eugène Delacroix, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Jasper Johns, as Jan and Kirsten explore the relationship between the study room and the paper lab. They will also consider the types of research questions often posed in the study room, and see how technical tools in the paper lab can provide insight.
