Menil Society Members are invited to a special preview of Abstraction after Modernism: Recent Acquisitions. Michelle White, Senior Curator, and Kelly Montana, Assistant Curator, Menil Drawing Institute, will lead a tour of the exhibition. Society Members will enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres, live music, complimentary refreshments, and mingling with Menil staff.
Abstraction after Modernism brings together acquisitions made by the Menil over the past fifteen years, including work by Agnes Denes, Suzan Frecon, Sam Gilliam, Ellsworth Kelly, Rick Lowe, and Richard Serra.
