Join Danielle Bennett, Curatorial Associate, for a close look at a votive sculptural head and a bird-shaped vessel from ancient Cyprus, two works that have never been on view at the Menil Collection. Through examining these objects firsthand, learn more about the cultural history of Cyprus as an island crossroad, see some of its distinctive cultural heritage, and discover how the ongoing investigations of the object biographies, or provenance, of these pieces have revealed new insights into their origins.
