Film Screening: “Bell, Book and Candle”

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Surrealism, join the Menil for an outdoor screening of the 1958 romantic comedy Bell, Book and Candle set at the Carlebach Gallery, a “tribal arts” gallery in New York frequented by the Surrealists. The story follows Gillian Holroyd (Kim Novak), a modern-day witch, who casts a love spell on publisher Shepherd Henderson (James Stewart). Rated PG, 106 min.

MoonRooster Tacos and Kona Shaved Ice trucks will be on-site during the event.

Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrars will also be on-site providing assistance on registering to vote or confirming your voter registration status.
